(More customer reviews)Got this and was very excited to try it out! We caught some fish and started to fillet them. The second fish that I was cleaning I noticed that the handle got very hot and all of a sudden something broke inside the handle and sent black grease or oil flying all over the place.

Amazon was great about the return. The gave me a return label and my money was back in my account in less than 10 days!

In the past Rapala has always had superior products and I never would hesitate to purchase anything with their name on it! That is simply not true anymore. It seems more and more companies are sacrificing quality of a product in order to pocket a larger profit!

We bought this item Satyrday at the local sporting goods store to fillet some crappie we caught up on Lake Weiss Friday.On-or-about Crappie #8, it started Blowin' Smoke And Sparks out of the Hindermost End.Back it went and in no time flat.Boy-hidey. Lauri Rapala must be rollin' over in his grave, hunh.

The memory function does not work at all consistently, a weight is stored about 1 time in 10 pushes of the memory button - I would not buy this scale if I needed the memory function to work.

The scale has a somewhat cheap feel to it and doesn't specifically say that it is water resistant - something that would be nice for a product used around water.
